The amount of transgressions against the Comprehensive Animal Welfare Policy (CAWP) has become egregious and the documentation of abuse and mismanagement has become widespread. We are tired of seeing flagrant abuse be allowed to continue, over and over, while the public cries out against it. Complacency is allowing the BLM to continue it's practices of disregard for the wellbeing of wild horses and burros, and it's time for it to stop.

We the undersigned demand that BLM immediately cease all roundup operations due to the inadequacy of training as well as a lack of enforcement and review of the current version of the Comprehensive Animal Welfare Policy (CAWP). The agency must immediately create a review board that includes members of the public experienced in capture operations, policy and law.
