I, the undersigned, pledge to place gaining a real welfare policy for our wild horses and burros as a priority in my advocacy for 2026. 

It is very clear that BLM cut corners and has delayed completing the steps promised a decade ago: transparency, revisions, public input, additional review.

The current program wastes tax-payer funding as it fails to fulfill the purpose of preventing suffering and needless injury and death. The program operates using a faulty model that is geared to support repetitive inappropriate conduct and not enforce a clear policy that includes current veterinary standards. 

I pledge to get involved and reach out to my representatives in Congress in 2026.

For the last ten years BLM has dragged their feet in fulfilling the promise made ten years ago. 

Enough is enough.
